Two Bits 53

Since I often bemoan the degeneration of speech where a challenge is like not using like in like you know every sentence I found the following to be terribly funny about the state of language in cyber-ia.

Hello Group and Kole!

It has been a week(almost) since I went on to the top of our own "Pimple", i.e., Stone Mtn with the gang. And if called to testify, I can attest to how much fun the whole blasted event was, it being my first CafeATL meeting. For the lurkers here who are shy about making themselves heard,I suggest they attend.

The most fruitful thing, given the diversity of interests and pet peeves in a group like this, is that it is really hard not to meet on the same wavelength. So along those lines, at the meeting I got to talking with another member (Art) about English litterature and the conversation kept going till after 11.00 pm that night of the hike. And it has been a really long time since I have had that experience.

So thanks you Kole, for organizing this and going with the rest to the top of the rock even though he had a bad brush with bad chinese food the previous night!

And I hope I will meet the folks I met last Sunday again at another meeting as well as the others on the list.

Cheers! Sashi

Hello all,

I am a Rambling Wreck in process of getting further wrecked. On the side I practise poetry, some of which, with some of my other rants, can be found at buoy.antville.org

I would love to praticipate and contribute to any conversation or activity that might tickle my neurons, as well as those of others. I would, most particularly, like to be able to praticipate in a Dead Poets Society like gathering where an evening is spent incanting verses.

much joy! Sashi
