Stay - Coal
You don't have to lie about where you've been, We both know you've been screaming..." So why don't you give your little voice a rest, Come on up inside my bed, And just pretend you need me...
You don't have to lie about what you know, We both know you've been suffering, And I don't need to be your only one, I don't need your comforting, I just need you with me...
Stay, stay, stay with me, Stay, stay with me... stay, And don't you ever run away from me, Stay, stay with me...
Well, and if she ever lets you down, After she's run out of your money, Well then crawl on back to me... I'm the one that sets you free, And I'm the one that needs you...
And if she ever lets you go, We both know what you're needing, And if you need somewhere to rest, Somewhere to lay your head, You'll know where to find me...
Stay, stay, stay with me, Stay, stay, stay with me... stay, And don't you ever run away from me, Stay, stay with me...
tear out all the headlines emptyin' the ashtrays, sweep out of the way of what's left of our time... well, you can use my body, to do what you have to, but stay a little longer, stay with me...
Have been lisenting to this song again and again all afternoon, using it as an axe to fell the sorrow which has solidified like a tree within me. My eyes hurt but refuse to ease me with tears. Hunger grows.

6th avenue heartache - the wallflowers
Sirens ring, shots ring out
A stranger cries, screams out loud
I had my world strapped against my back
I held my hands, never knew how to act
Chorus: And the same black line that was drawn on you Was drawn on me And now it's drawn me in 6th Avenue heartache
Below me was a homeless man Singing songs I knew complete On the steps alone, his guitar in hand His fifty years, stood where he stands
Chorus
Walking home on those streets The river winds move my feet Subway steam, like silhouettes in dreams They stood by me, just like moonbeams
Chorus
Look out the window, down upon that street And gone like midnight was that man But I see his six strings laying against that wall And all his things, they all look so small I got my fingers crossed on a shooting star Just like me, he just moved on
Chorus
from bringing down the horse

I have been listening to this song all night yesterday, I guess I slept off to that music, 6th Avenue Heartache. Fever has gone down, still don't feel strong enough in body and more importantly in spirit to get going.
Peace

Suffer - Smashing Pumpkins
Am currently listening to this song and though my mental state(thanks to Vipassana meditation) is much better than this lyric may indicate, I am putting this here to reaffirm the strength in me to live with change. Also this song has beautiful music, which is something fundamental to who I am and that none can take away.
Change is good.
Peace S
All that you suffer is all that you are All that you smother is all that you are And you're saying you're seeing, you're saying who you are What takes meaning is cleaning the meaning of who you are
All may say I will dream All may say
All of your struggles beneath your disguise Drink from the reasons that hold you alive 'Til we're safe from the wounds of desire and pain You must rise from the mounds of desire and change
Too late to discover peace of mind Too late to recover me
All you see and all you breathe and all you cease to be Taken down your only son and what he means to me Your dream will be To dream with me
Will you wait? Yes I will, I will wait for you To cleanse your life takes more than time Take what you want Take all of it
Too late to discover peace of mind (have no peace of mind) To late to recover
