Night Music
An extremely delicate ghazal, "Karoge Yaad To" from "Bazaar". This is my loose translation:
"If you will try to remember, every word will become vivid. And every second of passing time will come to a standstill.
Moon will become a mirror for those past seasons. In the drifting clouds, someone's face will be seen. And all your sad roads will point in a certain direction.
Weathers, rainy and wet, will turn to fog and mist. And in the melting wax of candles, a heart's clear imprints. And in the henna covering your hands, some old memories.
Where the alley turns, the eye of a deserted door Will show you the way to someone you seek. Your sight will travel afar, and will return.
If you will try to remember, every word will become vivid. And every second of passing time will come to a standstill."

Afternoon Music
Buckethead's "Sketches of Spain (For Miles)"
In a strange funky mood after waking up at noon, I have been careening between ghazals, carnatic ragas, old old A.R Rahman songs, didgeridoos, and Miles Davis gold standards, when via YouTube's hyperlink-ism, I found Buckethead, a surrealistic guitarist who makes beautiful music. And if you want to see the man play, watch "Padmasana".

Night Music - Brilliant-ville
Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova - "Falling Slowly", from the OST of "Once". Just a f-ing brilliant song from a f-ing brilliant movie - I can't believe I chose this movie from the hotel TV movie listings, only to provide company to my silence. Must watch!
