Evenings Without Adjectives
There are some evenings - these usually happen when one is not wrestling with the fickleness of desires (one's own and others') - when happiness seems to come as easily as words one is reading from a page at the edge of a river or a bay, or as if it were a small gull wheeling in smaller and smaller circles towards the blue-black waters (a proxy for the body, perhaps). Today was another such evening.

intangible, ineffable, ineluctable
For me, when these moments come, they come while I am crossing a street. Usually it's a warm day, with little wind, so layers of warm air cradle me. And as I cross, rather than rushing as I tend to do, my step suddenly catches and I am filled with a sense of wellbeing, joy at everything around me. Must learn to achieve a similar feeling in cooler climes!
