Ozomatali's rockin' "Cumbia De Los Muertos".

I went back to this track after being reminded that this wonderful salsa-chutney-guacamole-dimsum band out of LA has come out with a new album. Ozo has won accolades (including a couple of Grammys) for their blend of musical styles, the energy they generate in their live performances (in particular check out "Ya Viene el Sol"), as well as their commitment to progressive causes.

Noon Music

U2's "Stay (Faraway, So Close!)"

The video of this lovely U2 song is set to the eerily beautiful Berlin scenery of Wim Wenders's wonderful movie "Wings of Desire", and is directed by Wenders. The movie "City of Angels" is but a rip-off of this much superior German movie, as is Nicolas Cage's performance when compared to Bruno Ganz's earth-seeking angel. Mr. Ganz's shockingly accurate portrayal of Hitler during the Third Reich's death throes in the more recent German movie "Der Untergang" is also a thing to behold!
